I'm prisoned, but believing. Twisting my delusions, best beware. WHO:Maleficent & Lydia Martin WHEN: Monday Night WHERE: Mal's new shop at the Mall WHAT: Maleficent needs to find a new play thing with Sam being found; Lydia wants information. RATING/WARNINGS: TBA STATUS: In Progress
She'd had a good run, playing with Sam, enjoying a like minded individual for a short while. But now, well, they were curious as to his ailments. She knew that her magic was obvious, the dark magic taint on Sam's being, the mask over his soul. But she doubted they'd be able to figure out it was her. Sam likely didn't even know what she'd done to him.
But, it would be far too risky to redo the curse, or to carry on the games she played with the hunter. He was so much more interesting when he was soulless, but his friends would catch on eventually, wouldn't they. So no, it was time to find something else to do with herself. Which just happened to bring her to the store she'd started to set up.
She assumed it had once been some occult store, the trinkets and books lingering in the space. The dark décor and such wonderfully delightful little talismans. Crystals and bones, dust and herbs. A little white witch hole in the wall. But no, Maleficent could use this. Imbue some of these things with her little enchantments, curses and little happen-stances here and there. Oh, but it would be delightfully fun.
Sadly it also meant she would need to play nice with the little ones, less they start to suspect. But then, she was a masterful deceiver. She could play a long term con like that. With a little trouble along the way.
