People were something that could terrify her at times, having to try and get to know someone. Being human and having all these opinions to listen to when to her it made no sense and was more of a waste of time. So many basic concepts were lost on her but at least she could dress, brush her hair, and speak right. That alone should have counted as progress to adjusting to life now. "I suppose it makes sense...meeting people that aren't where you are from. I mean I met you and you aren't horrible at all." Of course she admitted pretty much thinking this would be the worse idea in the world when she first asked if she could have the lessons. She still wasn't sure it was the best, but it was fun.
"Ice Queen?" she looked over at him curiously about the name before focusing on the boat itself. Walking a little closer along the bank she would investigate the build of the boat, and try to look like she's seen one up close before. "So this thing holds you up in the water, no problems? I just...it's been a while. That and I don't think I've ever seen one that was more man made and not just bought out of a shop." She'd have to think back to when she was a child to really know, and that wasn't happening. "You love the water so much, why not just live on your boat?" Brows raised in jest of her own question, but she knew there were probably a list long of reasons why that just wouldn't work.
"I share a room, in a house that feels like constant chaos to me. Still not sure if I want to stay there or not but it's with people from where I am from, sorda."
