It was understandable, the number of times Emma had admitted she needed to rest, to take some time to gather herself. After the torture, after the dinosaurs, after each and ever crisis really. Emma said the same thing and it never really lasted. And Emma knew that Jefferson was only trying to get her to slow down and take care of herself, the same way she just wanted him to make sure he was taking care of himself too.
"Not this time, this time it's going to stick." She was going to step back, take some time to put some distance between her need to save everyone and her own mental health. She doubted she'd be entirely welcome around the station right then anyway, considering her current mindset.
"I'll write it down for you. I'm going to stop getting up early, I'm not going to leave the bed until noon some days. I'll pester you at every turn, sneak in to see you doing whatever you're doing." Running her hands over his sides, Emma just pitched forward a little, stealing little kisses with small smiles as she spoke, more than happy to make good on her promises this time. She needed the break before her mind just snapped.
