Leslie was a stickler for plowing through whatever work she had to do. It was just the way she was, and honestly she wouldn't have even left Claire or the office if she didn't have to get more binders for their various SOPs. She always kept a stash at the house she shared with Ann, and hurried over in that direction to get them. She was mostly oblivious to her surroundings as she was on a mission for work related projects, which were some of the most important projects of all!
She let out a sigh and recounted in her head all the things she needed to get along with the binders (because they were of no use unless she had color-coded them with tabs), and anything else she and Claire might need to get the town into tip-top shape. It was a project, on the scale of Leslie's park project, and that excited her. Of course she'd have to find something to do after it was completed, but she had a binder full of ideas for that as well.
Leslie knew the direction she was going, but she wasn't really paying attention and completely missed the fact that there was a dinosaur directly ahead of her. Her mind was in the clouds, and she almost ran into the dinosaur. Literally. Leslie froze when she saw what was in front of her, and her mouth gaped open. No sound came out, but that might have been because she was too scared to make a sound. Leslie thought that all the dinosaurs had disappeared a while ago, but obviously this dinosaur had missed the memo. She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat, and wanted to move away from potential danger but couldn't. Nothing was working, least of all her feet. That was the last thing she needed.
