They hunted, they trained, she knew affection in a tone, she didn't need touch. Touch reassured sometimes, other times it riled. But occasionally it was easier, and sometimes that reassurance was from either side. Blue accepted that, but she knew she'd only accept touch from few people -her alpha, their trainer, potentially the female if the situation called for it. Blue was starting to like the addition to their pack.
She was going to take care of them both, because that's what beta's did. They backed up the alpha, took care of the pack, let him lead. She'd make sure the female was safe, she'd track her alpha to be sure nothing was lurking, she'd make sure everyone knew their pack was strong, that they were formidable, that she would destroy any threat that growled towards her alpha.
Chirping in what constituted as agreement, Blue wasn't entirely sure what she was agreeing to for now. The alpha kept his body tight and closed, unusual but potentially because of the attack he'd faced, on his own too. Blue wouldn't be letting that happen again, so she would agree to whatever she was agreeing to, be around more. Bring food, mark their area, keep away threats.
She'd help the female keep the alpha strong, get his colour back. She could fish fairly well, and there were some moderately sized creatures she could drag back from the forest easily.
