Em had that refined aura about her, but Logan didn't mind. He would tease her about it from time to time, but in reality it was a nice change of pace from his more roguish ways. He laughed at her comment, his brow arching in curiosity. "Is that a fact," Logan asked because now his curiosity was piqued. "Well you might have to remind me sometime." Logan couldn't help it especially if she wasn't ashamed to show it off.
A part of Logan wished he had the same memories that Emma did. He wanted that deeper sense of friendship and camaraderie that Emma displayed whenever she talked about her world and her X-Men. Logan never really felt part of any team, loner that he was. It was partly his fault he was sure, and maybe if he ever got back home he'd give it another shot. Stop running to find answers that he'd probably never find. "Yeah?" He asked her when she made her comment. "Wanna talk about it?" He helped her take out the food - simple takeout from a local Chinese place. It wasn't the best, but it was edible. They even got a couple of fortune cookies out of it.
He took her bottle and with a partially extended claw he popped the cap off her beer. He poured it for her (he was a gentleman at times), and then set the bottle next to her glass. "Ain't much that'll put me off eatin'," he said to her as he plucked a shrimp from one of the dishes. "What do you think about the new folks coming in? Have you been able to use your telepathy to feel them out?"
