Jeremy smiled at Steve. "Thanks," he told the man. "I appreciate that." He seemed like a decent guy and Jeremy was glad that he'd bumped into him. Having friends, especially in this place, couldn't hurt. If anything, it would just make things easier.
"I will. Have a good day, Steve," he said before bidding the man farewell and heading down the street towards the home he shared with Penelope.
