Honey, There is No Right Way WHO: Garrett Hawke & Killian Jones WHEN: Monday Evening WHERE: Hawke's little house on the lake shore. WHAT: Drinking, flirting and a talent demonstration. WARNINGS: Hawke's bad language and adult situations. STATUS: Complete
To be honest, Hawke hadn't a clue what he was doing with the pirate. He did like Hook and he was terribly handsome but he should've learned his lesson about handsome men by now. Anders betrayal had cut him deep, torn his heart out but that little bit of him that wanted companionship was not yet defeated. Considering how stubborn he was in general Hawke couldn't really blame himself. That or he had a weakness for handsome clever men. It could be that just as easily.
Whatever caused Hawke to flirt and tease Hook it was also responsible for him cleaning his little house before the man in question came over. It was a modest little place, nothing compared to his estate in High Town but he liked it. There were three rooms on the first floor and the kitchen then a lofted bedroom and a modest sized closet. He had scavenged furniture from around and it was all haphazard but it was home.
More importantly, he was away from the city that was rather intimidating for him. He wasn't used to such modernity. Out on the lake he could be comfortable with more familiar wilderness around him. It would certainly give them all the privacy either of them could want. Hawke had a feeling they might need it tonight.
