He raised an eyebrow at her. "Why do they call it coin if it's made of paper? And how does it have any value that way?" He shook his head at his own question. Did it matter how if there was value? He sounded like a dwarf wondering about gold. "Thank you, but I have no intention to join the city guard. I don't follow rules very well."
And to patrol like that he would have to go into the city to report his victories and honestly he did not feel like going into the city more than he had to.
"I was going to fish," he answered honestly. "But I have my manners and it is incredibly rude to turn away freely offered food. So, I will accept whatever you feel like feeding me. After all this practice you should eat, especially if you feel tired or dizzy."
