Oh god yes. Creepy dude aside the food looked so good and Owen's stomach growled deeper than some of the dinos on a rough day at the park that he couldn't give half a shit if it was legit. Were he alone, he would probably scoop up those noodle, dump them on that bread, and then proceed to cram all of it down his throat. But since his date was so prim and he did want to try a hand at being decent on their quaint little outing, he would settle for human sized bites at a regular speed.
He had seen a movie or two were said carriage rides went down. Owen was not the most romantically inclined person to come off the boat, but he would try. When his first few bites were down and his mouth wasn't full he answered. "Not real snow, just, you know. Whatever is on the television or pictures."
Hey. There were people who never swam before, snow wasn't so bad. At least he hadn't thought it was. "I didn't see much before I got into the Navy. I saw even less then."
