Abbie flinched at the sudden voice behind her. Of course someone else would come out to investigate. Turning around to see who it was, she watched as the other woman sprinted up to her. Hooking her thumbs into her backpack, Abbie gave her a sheepish smile. Having the extra company could give her the necessary push. And if she did end up in trouble, then she would stand a chance of surviving. Hopefully.
