He gave her some space while she looked for a spot. Before this was a drill he used to have her and her siblings do to promote social skills, both amongst each other and with him. Back then it may have seemed a waste to teach them tactics when they'd never be using them--Owen always knew InGen had plans of it's own, he just always counted on being there to reciprocate. Only now that was coming into play now and Blue and her sisters had already proven their training to be useful.
"This is a little sloppy." He tapped the freshly broken branch ends that practically pointed to where he knew she was bunkering. Sure, not everyone knew how to track but Owen was being better safe than sorry. He also knew she was doing the best with what she had but the best wasn't going to keep her alive.

The mossy bark was a nice cover, flush, and easy to mistake her for something else. No one could really find her unless they were looking and she kept dangerously quiet. Which, he knew she would. "I see you." He smirked, moving a tuft of shrub to the side where her glinting yellow eye had reflect for the tiniest of moments. Owen only knew because he was looking for it.
