All these sweet little humans, they all had death wishes, out in the middle of town when the big bads were hunting. All so they could help their fellow stupid people. Such bravery, such idiocy. It was starting to seem like Jeanette would be doing them a favour by draining them dry.
"Oh, don't fret, sweetness, I'm a bit sturdier than that." She really wanted to know if she could punch through a dinosaur. It was probably a terrible theory to want to test, but she really did want to test it. But then, after the creepers from the forest, she wasn't looking to get too close -this one might freak out before she'd offer to help out in a donor capacity. Oh, Jeanette should've brought Shepard with her.
The baseball bat was good, that was something at least. "Okay, you pop the bag on, both arms in there, that's a good little healing angel, and we'll get you all suited up for swinging like a proper slugger," if Ann could bash something, she'd at least have a hope in hell of getting to the Town Hall. Jeanette could play hide and seek some more if she needed to.
"My name's Jeanette, and I will be you're heroic maiden for the day. Just don't tell Therese I said that, her face might break into a smile. You ready?" Okay! Back into the breach with health conscious Ann and the baseball bat of wonder!
