Mad Hook + Dinos
Killian may have been smirking but the train of thought dwelling on the lack of sense carried by the every day person was something of a mantra that Jefferson couldn't help but shake. Forgive him for coming off a snob but sometimes there was just no excuse for the amount of poor breeding this world and the next had to offer.
He pulled the pistol that rested on the back of his belt--and unsafe place to house it but he had nowhere else other than his pocket. The safety was off and the barrel was full. Would it do anything against a dinosaur? He highly doubted it. But it was better than nothing.
"Don't we all feel safer hiding behind Emma?" This time he returned the Captain his smirk. He couldn't fault anyone for wanting to take refuge behind the Savior, she was their best bet in the most heinous of situations. "I only wonder what we can expect to happen should this particular crisis...well, I mean, I suppose rebuilding the town would give us something to do."
It was an attempt at a non-nengative point of view. Killian had succeeded far more than he did, even though Jefferson knew they both weren't thinking the town would come out a shining penny on top of dinosaur rubble.
