It didn't take long for the predators to return to the square. The smell, and sound of fresh meat was most likely too good to resist, and they came flocking back. The man with the stave was shooting fireballs at the creature now, but from the corner of her eye she saw something else lurking not too far from them. It was most certainly an ambush, and she left the front door only long enough to bring her portable tear generator into the fight. Maybe it wasn't completely accurate with where it sent a person, or thing, but it would definitely transport them.
And so Rosalind turned on her device, and as it whirred to its fullest charge the raptor behind the two people prepared to pounce. It was stealthy for certain, but it did not count on another person spying it from afar. Rosalind shot out a steady beam of light directly in front of the creature just as it let out a high pitched screamed and pounced. A tear in the fabric of Marrowood's space appeared, and the dinosaur leaped right into it. The scientist turned off the device quickly so it could not travel back through, but she was also certain that it would not take long for the swift monster to reach their destination once more.
"Quickly now, while there's only one," she yelled at them. Rosalind opened the door wider to facilitate the two strangers' retreat, and was ready to shut it as soon as they were safely in the lab.
