Number one; stranger coming to her aid equalled yes please in Ruby's books, stranger having the slightest clue as to what to do was also a plus. It wasn't that she was helpless per say, no. It was just that Ruby's brain shut the hell off and freaked out because dinosaurs and she wasn't sure when it would come back online again.
The stench of dead animal was really starting to get to her too, because these things died gruesomely in the middle of the day with heat baking down on them, and that was just gross. Add in the fact that they were dinos and it was worse. Keeping her hand over her nose and mouth, trying to avoid the smell while keeping herself quiet, Ruby followed the directions.
When she spotted the brunette across the street, waving her hands and arms like a maniac, she gave her new companion and small nudge, jerking her chin in that direction, just as she heard the distinct scrape of claws on concrete.
