The emergence of the dinosaurs was not something that Rosalind expected considering the horror tropes that the town was known to bring to life, but at the same time she was not entirely surprised. Marrowood liked to throw its residents off as much as possible, and what better way than with creatures that have been extinct for millions upon millions of years?
She and Robert had managed to remain relatively unscathed since the appearance of the dinosaurs, but that was no longer the case once the larger creatures moved in and the carnivorous ones followed. It was looking more like a slaughterhouse than a square with body parts strewn about, but what could she do? She was not a fighter, and her tear generator did not exactly open up portals to places she wanted. She felt utterly useless, especially with the number of lives that were no doubt loss.
Rosalind was lingering near one of the front windows, however, when she spotted two strangers across the street staying close to the wall of the building. They were hiding from whatever it was that had torn apart the bodies in the square, and by Rosalind's calculations they were close enough to actually make it to the lab. While it wasn't a safe house, it was a lot safer than being out in the open.
As quietly as she could muster Rosalind opened the door to the lab, and peaked outside. She could hear the high-pitched screech of the animal, but could not gauge where it was coming from. Hoping that it was safe Rosalind waved her arms in the air to catch the attention of the two people in the square. She hoped they would see her, and make their way to the lab before the dinosaurs returned.
