Who: Killian & Matt
When: (Slightly backdated to) Sunday Morning/Afternoon
Where: Killian’s
What: Breakfast, after a very interesting night.
Rating: PG-13. Might be some discussion of last night (and early morning) sexual escapades
Matt hadn’t tried to conceal his blindness from anyone in the town thus far, not really, he just didn’t like talking about it. It was a part of who he was, a large part, considering his abilities seemed to have all developed over the years past his accident -- but he certainly didn’t like to be defined by his blindness, and he abhorred the idea of people having (mis)conceptions about him because of how he saw the world. He hadn’t mentioned it to Killian until he’d shown up in his bar with sunglasses and a white stick. And then he’d spent the night. It wasn’t something that he’d done before, precisely. He hadn’t considered himself all the inclined towards men, even. But he’d just woken up in a pocket dimension where the streets were crawling with bodies that wanted to kill him. He had no idea what he was doing here, what it all meant or if he had any real hope of surviving the ordeal, thus sexuality was not exactly a current hang-up. Someone wanted to be close to him; maybe help take his mind off the horrors around them for a few hours -- fine. Good. Great, actually. Killian certainly knew his way around in the bedroom. To make things better, there was breakfast the next morning waiting for him when he got out of the shower. He stepped out of the bathroom, a towel draped over his naked shoulders, and stopped to tilt his head in Killian’s general direction. “I didn’t realise you were such a great host, or I would have stopped around this way a lot sooner.” He stepped over towards the kitchen table, pulled out his chair and took a seat before running his hand through his damp hair. Last night, they’d had a few drinks and fell onto a mattress without much conversation. This morning, they hadn’t had much of a chance to talk either, but now maybe they could finally make with introductions that didn’t involve mouths and bodyparts. “So tell me, how long has it been that you’ve been stuck in this magical place?” He spoke towards Killian’s back while the man stood in the kitchen. He ran his thumb across the edge of the bare plate in front of him, trying to get a good read of the table in front of him and where everything was. “And maybe a little bit more about yourself because, besides your name, I’m sort of drawing a blank. I don’t think I -- I mean, I was pretty distracted last night.” |
