The doctor materialised as if from nowhere, between one blink and the next, he was simply there. He was a plain man, with a spark of something in his eyes that wasn't life and a pleasant expression that shifted between maliciously sadistic and creepily happy. "Hello there, my dears," the hollowness of his voice was unmissable, even with the lightly spoken words. "I am informed you require...medicine."
His fingers touched in front of him in a triangle, pressing off one another as he at least attempted to reign in his glee. The hospital was not known for its living patients after all.
"What type of medicine is it you seek? Cures for derangement? A stop to narcolepsy? Treatment for insanity?" One could only hope.
