Leslie had no better way of telling Ann about the crazy that existed in this world. It was weird, and so different from where they had come from. But if there was anything the perky blonde knew it was that she could overcome anything so long as she had her friends with her. And now her best friend was here Leslie was sure it was all going to turn out for the best in the end. It felt like only good things were happening now. The Mayor just approved her park, and now Ann was here. It was perfect, except true perfection would have been for all of them to be back in Pawnee.
"You're right, this is crazy," Leslie said with a sigh. "And yeah, it's not a hundred percent all right or okay, but we have to believe that it will be. Or at least has the chance to be because this place," Leslie said as she looked around. "This place will sap the happiness right out of you if you let it." She shook her head, and closed her eyes. When she opened them she stared at Ann with stout resolve. "I won't let this place take away my happiness or yours. We're going to survive this. Together."
She leaned in and hugged Ann again, relishing in how good it was to have her best friend there. Leslie took a deep breath, and closed her eyes to try to fly away. If she could fly that meant it was a dream and she wouldn't get too happy. But when she remained fully rooted Leslie knew she could relax... somewhat. Kind of. How was sweet, sun-goddess Ann going to survive this place? Leslie knew she'd have to protect her.
Leslie leaned back, and shrugged her shoulders slightly at Ann. There wasn't much that either of them could do in this situation other than be there for one another. "So... are you ready for the next doozy? Because it kind of adds to the crazy."
