"Ann!" Leslie had practically sprinted from her house toward the Sleepy Hollow when she realized that her best friend in the whole wide world, the only person she probably loved more than Ben, was there in Marrowood. She was sad, and happy - okay, she'd be lying if she said she was more sad than happy. Leslie was ecstatic to see Ann since she hadn't seen her in forever. She ran toward the ethnically vague woman, and wrapped her arms around her.
"Ann! Ann! Ann!" She squeezed and jumped, pulling Ann along with her. It was several minutes before she stepped back, arms still on the other woman's shoulders, to look at her. "I can't believe you're here," she said with a bright smile. Her eyes were tearing up quickly, too, such was the amount of emotion that she had flowing through her at the moment.
"I'vemissedyousomuchandIcan'tbelieveyou'rehereandthere'ssomuchtotellyou," she said in such a pace that her words did blend together. She looked at Ann in silence for a long time, and then reached a hand up to her hair. "It's longer," she said with a small laugh. "Your hair. It looks good though, don't get me wrong. But you could be wearing a balaclava and look good," she said with a grin. "It is so good to see you."
