Alien creatures were not part of the twin's usual audience, not had spirits and monsters for that manner, but they learned and in time so would Jakayla. It wasn't so much about creating rapport with them, though, as much as it was fighting them and learning their weaknesses. It was harder for the twins to create relationships with the people in the town, that was their biggest challenge considering how anti-social they both were.
There was very little else in Rosalind'd mind other than scientific intrigued. She might have had (at some point) some feelings for Clint, but it was clear that the two of them would only ever be friends. There was flirtations, of course, some of which Rosa was still getting used to, but it was all in good fun. It helped her to become more... human, as it were. Before Marrowood she was far too closed off to people, and other experiences.
"That is an interesting design," she said with a smile. "Perhaps, given the chance and time, we could study your armor as well? We could modify the design for bigger barriers, such as walls. Or even armor for our defenders. How does it fare against high speed projectiles exactly?" Okay, maybe Rosalind was trying to get her out of her armor, but it was for science. Really.
