Everything Hermione said, Elizabeth wrote down quickly on the little notepad. Even if specific details might not have applied, she didn’t figure it would hurt too much to have as much information on hand as possible. And maybe in the future, it would apply to what they were facing in Marrowood.
Once she was done putting everything down, she re-read the words and seemed quite thoughtful about them. She supposed it would be too good to hope that the ghosts in Marrowood’s cemetery might possibly be as forthcoming with conversation as the ghosts Hermione was describing were. She turned her gaze back up to Hermione’s face.
“Did any of them have the ability to harm someone? Physically or otherwise,” she said. That was probably the most important thing to know. “I don’t imagine so, but if the ghosts from your world could, I don’t want to take any chances here.”
For all of his skills with firearms, she really didn’t think Booker’s method of negotiation would work on ghosts.
