Alec Lightwood & Clary Fray // Shadowhunters
He might not have seen anyone, and she didn't either. But that didn't mean there wasn't someone out there. That archery target hadn't knocked itself over. And it wasn't like the wind was blowing hard enough to do it. Something was definitely going on. Clary didn't like it and she was starting to get scared. At least she wasn't alone though.
The next thing she knew Alec was on the ground. Someone had knocked him over. No it had been something. There was no one around. No one but them and Clary hadn't knocked him over. "Are you alright?" She moved to help him up.
Something spooky was going on here, and maybe even dangerous. Alec had been hurt. She couldn't just run to camp and leave him out here on his own. There was no telling what might happen before she could get back to him.
"Clary Fairchild..." She heard something whisper behind her.
She was terrified, but she wasn't leaving Alec out here. "Alec come on, get up. We have to get out of here." His bow was useless now, but what would it have done against some unknown attacker, especially when they couldn't even see who or what it was.
"Clary Faiiiiirchild." There it was again.
Clary did her best to keep her composure, but they really did need to get out of there, and back to the safety of the camp. Would they even be safe there from whatever this was?
"Don't ignore me." The voice said, and by now Clary was shaking.
