Gil had to smile softly as she saw the tables forming all around them, the brick walls along one side and all the gently glowing lamps giving illumination where people sat, whether on the lower level or the balcony overlooking the club.
She walked ahead, curiously reaching out to touch a table. It felt real. What had been fog felt seemed actual wood to her fingertips. She looked at James in surprise as she responded. "The Zodiac is where witches and warlocks gather. My brother plays bongos on this stage."
Gil walked in front of said stage, a small area to be sure but full of memories for her. She hoped the fog wouldn't recreate facsimiles of people. "Could we go upstairs and out into the Village too?" she wondered as she walked around slowly, moving by the chairs and tables, touching some, pushing them aside to hear the sounds they seemed to make scratching over the floor that shouldn't be.
