--Just yesterday I changed one of the FAQS (rules of play). As the magic is a changing thing, almost an entity with all the power it gained during the five decades it took to turn all the natives to stone, so its effects can also change. We've already seen this happen when three of the characters turned to stone (originally it was thought outsiders wouldn't be affected by the curse). Now the characters on the quest can't go further from the Spell Anchor than two miles. If they try, they find themselves returned to standing beside the Anchor in the blink of an eye after feeling their limbs, hands and feet tingling.
--Two players and three characters left. Corrie (causeascene), Spike (man_enough) and Aisling (white_aisling) are now also turned to stone.
--There will be a role call/activity check on May 1.
As always, questions and discussion is welcome if you guys need to know anything or if this creates some sort of unseen complication.

Weather:
There is more spring rain in the early part of the day, clearing out by noon. The clouds break up quickly and warm sunshine evaporates the rain that fell, making the day feel muggy. The temperature is warm enough so that this humidity doesn't feel at all chilly.
Setting:
The travellers emerge from the forest into a clearing, where they can see the source of the running water they've heard off to their left for a couple of days. The road curves left, leading to a well-maintained stone bridge crossing the river. The bridge doesn't look as if no one's been there during the past fifty years. The river itself is broad. Its water is deep, running swiftly.
Events:
A troll, somewhat surprised to see people, emerges from beneath the bridge. His broad, burly form blocks access to the bridge as he observes the little procession of three wagons, some riders and others merely walking. Some of these people are oddly clothed but the troll doesn't really care. What draws his attention are the goats. The price of passage will be two goats.

Hi, again! So, I should probably be checked out for having an addiction to rpgs, and characters, but since I haven't been, have Kahlan Amnell! She's from Legend of the Seeker and the Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind. She is the Mother Confessor. In the Midlands, that means she can touch someone, (the show always has her do it on someone's neck, but I don't remember them specifying it in the books) and when she does, love for Kahlan consumes them, and it's all they can think about. She can also tell when someone is lying. She is the head of all the Confessors, but there are no more, because the big bad, Darken Rahl, killed them all. She went to go to Westland, which was cut off from the Midlands by the boundary. It's a magical force field, to keep people out. She got across with a night wisp named Shar. She got to Richard Cypher, and his grandfather Zedd, who is a Wizard of the First Order. In fact, he's the First Wizard because he is the only one of the First Order.
Her canon point that I am bringing her in from is actually an alternate universe within the show. The Mord'Sith are women, who wear red leather head to toe, and they torture people to get information for the current Lord Rahl. When Darken Rahl dies in season one, Richard becomes the current Lord Rahl. On the show, he's Darken's brother, but in the books, he's his son. Anyway, Cara Mason was a Mord'Sith who acknowledged that Richard was the true Lord Rahl, so she began traveling with them. In the last few episodes of season 2, she is kidnapped by Darken Rahl, who has been given a new lease on life courtesy of the Sisters of the Dark, nuns who are the foes of the Sisters of the Light. They break her again, (what it's called when you are trained to be Mord'Sith. They take girls when they are children.) and attacks them. Richard wants to save her, and Zedd mentions this spell that he can do to try and reverse the effects. He casts the spell, and it works too well. It takes them to an alternate reality in which when Richard won against Darken Rahl in the first season, he got the power of the Boxes of Orden. That would have been a bad thing, because no one person could hold all that power. Kahlan Confessed him at the same time, and it tempered the power. The reason this happened was because Cara was never made a Mord'Sith, so she wasn't present to do her part the first time. Richard and Kahlan are able to get married because her power doesn't affect him, he is still able to remain himself. Zedd is wanting to put the universe right, and Darken Rahl gains power again, and gets Richard, so it's important. Kahlan and Zedd go to put the spell on Cara again, and the other Mord'Sith kill her before they can. That is the point that Kahlan is coming in from, wishing to get away.
I am up for anything plot wise, and I'm going to put up an open thread for Kahlan. XD.

Hi, guys, Julia again, with a new character, (done in my best Kermit the Frog voice) YAY!!! I am bringing to ya'll Kimberly, the original Pink Power Ranger. She's coming in from the point where the Rangers get the ninjetti powers in season 3, about a week or so after that. I play her pretty canonly, but I don't acknowledge her relationship with Tommy. She and he were only ever just friends. I actually ship her with Jason. They would have been SO CUTE together. Anyway, she's a good fighter, and she's really limber from her gymnastics. Also, she's so laid back and open, she'd probably get along well with everyone.

Hi everyone! I'm Adelai, and I'm bringing one of my favorite muses (and I've had enough now that's saying something), Belle from ABC's Once Upon A Time. For those familiar with her canon, she's coming right before the curse was cast so after being locked up in Regina's tower for some time. For those unfamiliar, she's kind of Disney's Belle, in that she loves a Beast (thus the name, though their situation is a bit more complicated than your usual Beauty and the Beast story), loves books and adventure, and doesn't stand for any man telling her what to do but in other ways is quite different (thus the wealth of info/links in her bio). She might not be a fighter, but she's tougher inside than her pretty face and bookworm nature leads people to believe, and loves something fierce.
Um, beyond that I'm up for any and all plot talk/anything anyone can think of to get Belle and I up to speed, and look forward to playing with you all!

I'm Lauren and I'm new here. I'm bringing in Jo Harvelle from Supernatural, post her last appearance on Supernatural. She's a hunter, born from a hunter and a rather tough ass woman by the name of Ellen. She's a tough girl, stubborn just a tad too much, and can be rather foolish when it comes to the people she cares about most in her life. She came here as a wish to be able to help out Dean. The rest, with more detail, is in the profile. I can't wait to play with you all :D

Weather: Misty both mornings. Day 10 is dank and rainy. Day 11 ends up being sunny and mild.
Setting: Beyond Nettleswend, the woods become thicker in Gryffin Valley. All day long the sound of running water can be heard somewhere on the other side of the trees to the left of the travellers' path.
Events: Mainly the wraith hunt on Day 11.
