| Very Urgent Owl to the Minister of Magic |

Sir,
I know it's been a while since we spoke about it, but McGonagall's old animagi students...we just received a patronus. All it said was "Help me."
It was Lucy Elkin's patronus, sir. It seemed very weak, as if it had been through the ringer a few times.
I know it doesn't help much, if only to say that she's still alive. But...we don't know what to do. Or think, for that matter.

As if the weekend weren't going badly enough, all of McGonagall's secret Animagus Trainees from the '98 & '99 war era students get a familiar sort of message today. A doe patronus, looking weak and insubstantial (and maybe a little injured) appears - the patronus message technique that McGonagall and the DA both taught. The doe's message is very simple.
"Help me." |
