Dear Headmaster Snape,

My name is Lyra Moon, the assistant to Madame Pince? I've been in dialogue with Madame Pince for quite sometime now regarding a few thoughts and ideas for the library but all my suggestions have been explained away by this general statement:

"That isn't for me to decide, you need to take that up with the headmaster."

I know you're a very busy man but if you have a moment, would it be possible to have the time to talk to you about these ideas of mine? I'd very much appreciate it.

Miss Moon,

I do know who you are. I don't know why Madam Pince feels she hasn't the authority to pass judgment on your suggestions, unless they are particularly extreme or she has finally succumbed to crippling apathy. With the caveat that I am not in the habit of implementing radical changes, I will meet with you if you prefer. I will be in my office until eight.
