Game-Wide Plot Summary: The Search For the Horcruxes Game-Wide Plot Summary: The Search For the Horcruxes, Take Over of the Ministry, and Battle for Hogwarts
1997
Pregame - July 27th: Harry and the Order are attacked while moving Harry to The Burrow. In the ensuing battle Moody, Hagrid, and Hedwig fall to the Killing Curse.
August 1: Wished begins with an article in the Daily Prophet which reports Dumbledore's retirement but misreports the deaths of Professors Hagrid and Burbage as retirements as well. This article also lists the forced retirement of Professor Binns, and his replacement by Radolphus Pittiman. The same morning, Hogwarts Owls deliver letters and reading lists to all returning students from the new Headmistress. These owls also bring journals to every student that will be a required part of next year's curriculum. These owls also carry letters for next year's Prefects and Quidditch captains, and Harry and Hermione turn down their respective positions as Quidditch Captain and Head Girl. Later, Trio have an argument after Hermione returns from Obliviating her parents, and later Dumbledore arrives in order to give them a few mysterious, but important, gifts.
August 3: Hermione writes to the DA but they are generally not happy about being kept in the dark.
August 4: Reflecting on the news he received from Fred, Charlie decides to come home for a bit and asks for his time off. Susan Bones has inherited her aunt Amelia's papers.
August 5: The new Hogwarts Headmistress is busy as well, setting up a meeting with Tonks. Meanwhile, Hermione is very interested in the papers of Amelia Bones that Susan has inherited, and makes plans to come over and look through them. DA members are anxious for real news. Late in the evening, Rabastan and Alecto appear in Diagon Alley causing havok in Flourish & Blotts before snatching their targets, Madam Edgecombe and her daughter Marietta. In the process, one Auror is killed, one is left Crucioed and unable to talk, and one - blamed for the whole thing - is Imperioed and will take his own life later while in custody.
August 6: The Daily Prophet reports on the attack in Diagon. It accurately reports the sighting of Rabastan, but blames the death of the Auror later in the evening on the Auror Rabastan Imperioed. Also, it misreports the snatching of the Edgecombes. Early in the morning, Hermione visits Susan and is able to go through the papers of Amelia Bones and also clue Susan in to some things that have happened. Students respond to the news of the day, and many DA members are frustrated by the continued warnings about the Prophet while they still are being kept in the dark.
August 7: Students continue to respond to the Death Eater attack in Diagon Alley, and many parents will not allow students to do their school shopping at Diagon themselves this year. Draco reflects on his current situation, while Ron becomes annoyed at the DA. Rabastan begins using the journal he stole from Flourish & Blotts.
August 9: Alecto goes hunting for Hermione's parents, and murders their neighbors when she realizes that Hermione has anticipated this attack and sent her parents away.
August 10: Lucius is as concerned as his wife about the Death Eaters taking over his home, and Alecto reports that Hermione was a step ahead of them and had already sent her parents off where they can't be found.
August 19: After his meeting with the Minister of Magic, Harry goes with Ron and Hermione to Grimmauld where they find out from Kreacher what happened to the locket Horcrux.
August 22: The Weasley-Delacour wedding is attacked by Death Eaters who are there searching for Mundungus after Kreacher once again betrays Harry to Bellatrix. The Dark Lord sends only a handful of Death Eaters, while many of the rest are sent to gaurd and live at Grimmauld.
August 31: At the twins shop, Neville holds a DA meeting and delivers bad news.
September 1: The Hogwarts Express returns students to Hogwarts for the new year. Harry, Hermione, and Ron are not on the train, though they do arrive in time for the Sorting Feast. Headmistress McGonagall's speech railed against the biases of 'unreliable news' and announced the unfortunate demise of Professors Burbage and Hagrid. She urged students, as Dumbledore always had, to be aware and to choose the right path when they are presented with difficult choices.
September 2: Hermione is paranoid about Pittiman and believes the Trio needs to talk to Dumbledore about Mundungus.
September 5: Hermione is not having much luck in the Hogwarts Library.
October 4:Draco is sporting arm bandages and Death Eaters are responding to the recent angry burning of their Dark Marks.
October 6: The locket horcrux being at Hogwarts begins to affect Gryffindors. Elsewhere, Alecto and Rabastan have a job to do, and it requires a trip to Bulgaria.
Oct 22: In response to Draco's news, Dumbledore warns Minerva who warns Remus and then the rest of the Order, calling them Hogwarts defense. Fred warns Ginny, who warns the DA while the Trio makes other plans in another attempt to destroy the horcrux. Meanwhile, Lucius has a list from the Ministry of employee blood status.
Oct 23: Remus and Tonks compare notes, while Dumbledore reminds Snape of his duty one last time. Later, the Order, tricked by Dumbledore into believing Hogarts was in danger, uselessly assembles at Hogwarts and they and the DA take steps to defend it. The real attack, however, was planned against the Ministry. Death Eaters attack and kill many, including the Minister of Magic. Meanwhile, the Trio arrives at the Ministry (after Harry had a bad day already) to steal Gryffindor's Sword, and are attacked by Snape. Dumbledore apperas, seemingly to defend them, and then makes his final request of Severus, who kills him and flees while the Trio flees to the Forest of Dean.

Oct 29: The Daily Prophet reports expected changes and changes already made by the new Minister of Magic. Meanwhile, Ginny has figured out a way to get the Trio their journals. Students also begin to notice that Snape has gone missing.
Oct 30: At Hogwarts, after the DA has been made aware of Snape's betrayal, members begin to respond.
November 6: The Minister's new program of Protective Decrees began. Dumbledore's Funeral was announced in the back pages of the Prophet, causing a stir, and then quickly followed by an interview with Rita Skeeter about her new tell-all book about Dumbledore's lurid life.
Nov 11: The Daily Prophet reports that corruption has been uncovered in many past Wizengamot cases. Many who were 'falsely' convicted of being Death Eaters are legally released from Azkaban.
December 7: Alecto writes publically about muggle hunting, which prompts a very big reaction from Ginny Weasley, though it seems that nothing can be done to censor her.

December 16: The Prophet reports an unidentified body found decomposing outside of Hogsmeade, and blames Ron. Elsewhere, Lucius Malfoy is reappointed to the Hogwarts Board of Governors.
December 21: Percy begins to realize that there are DEs at the Ministry.
December 27: As a newly reappointed Governor of Hogwarts, Lucius is called in to meet with Minister Thicknesse and assigned the job of attempting to convince McGonagall to step down.
December 28: The body found earlier in the month outside of Hogsmeade is finally identified as Marietta Edgecombe, who disappeared months ago. Ron is blamed again, but the Prophet reports that McGonagall is considering stepping down from her Headmistress post as well. This is quickly followed by a Quibbler article that says she is not leaving. Shortly after the Quibbler release, Pyrites is summoned to Voldemort for a mission. Meanwhile, Scabior is recruited to the Snatchers by Rodolphus Lestrange. Hermione finally writes to friends, and is given some important help from Viktor Krum.
December 29: Thanks to Viktor's help, Hermione believes she has something figured out, but Harry doesn't think so and ends up going off on his own. After struggling with the Horcrux, having a strange vision, and nearly drowning, Ron figures out the Deluminator, arrives to save the day, destroys Slytherin's locket, and reunites the Trio! Rodolphus and Mulciber meet at Shalott to discuss Death Eater business until the marks of all Death Eaters begin to burn in anger.
December 30: Via Protective Decree Number Two the Ministry of Magic accuses muggleborns of attaining magic through theft, and begin Muggleborn Registration.
