Who: Delaney Twilfitt, Anabel Runcorn What: Dinner, scans, tests, talking shop When: Evening, after this conversation Where: Casa de Twilfitt Rating/Warnings: PG/Language, flirtation, kissing at most. Unlike all of her other threads, Delaney's probably NOT going to derail this one with teh secks.
Delaney wasn't what you'd call a whiz in the kitchen, but what she knew how to make, she knew how to make well. And the great thing about a stirfry, she mused as she gathered ingredients, was that it was quick, tasty, and almost impossible to fuck up.
She wasn't sure if Anabel was the type to arrive right on time or not, so she busied herself chopping and slicing vegetables and starting to cube the chicken. She let her mind wander, wondering if the baby was a boy or a girl, and what she was going to tell Marcus or Caine when she found out - and who she was going to end up telling! |

WHO: Gretchen Watkins & Delaney Twilfitt WHAT: Delaney needs to talk. Gretchen happens to be nearby. WHERE: Diagon WHEN: Monday afternoon WARNINGS/RATING/STATUS: None this time, I promise! Just talk of babies and emotions and girly shit like that/PG13?/Ongoing
Gretchen wasn't exactly sure how it'd come to pass that she was picking up lunch for Trevor, but sure enough, here she was, paying for two meals from the Happy Squid and taking them back to a likely ungrateful partner. Thanking man behind the counter, she snagged the bag of food and took an appreciative sniff as she walked outside, her stomach rumbling slightly.
She was hungrier than she'd thought, which sort of made sense, given that she'd foregone any sort of breakfast meal in favour of spending another hour in bed with Trevor. Not that it had been a bad trade off, mind. The fact remained, however, that this food was going to be greatly appreciated.
Strolling past Delaney's store, Gretchen glanced in idly, still slightly uncomfortable with the fact that both she and Trevor had slept with the woman, on completely separate occasions. She was certain it was a first, she didn't generally sleep with women and she would bet all her gold that Trevor had never shagged a bloke. Given her inclinations, a certain level of crossover was to be expected, but she still found it odd.
Oddness filling her head, Gretchen didn't see Delaney walking towards her until it was too late. The other woman had spotted her and Gretch raised a hand in greeting. |

WHO: Gretchen Watkins & Delaney Twilfitt (cameo appearance by Trevor Scabior!) WHAT: lunching, chatting WHERE: Two Happy Squids WHEN: Friday afternoon WARNINGS/RATING/STATUS: None probably, surprisingly (considering who's in the thread)SEX SEX AND MORE SEX/PG13? NC17/Ongoing
Gretchen used the wall of Martini's to steady herself as she fixed the buckle on her boot. It had taken her a while to find these and she wondered absently why she'd bothered. It wasn't as though this lunch meant anything to her but getting out of the office. Shrugging, she leaned back against the wall and studied the people walking across the street.
It was busy in the Alley, full of parents and children picking up last minute textbooks and cloaks for school. As Gretchen watched the throngs, she found herself longing for September first and the relative peace it afforded the Alleys. She was at least lucky enough to work on Knockturn, and far enough in that no stupidly curious children made their way up to the shop; she couldn't imagine actually putting up with crowds of insipid customers like this every day.
Her eyes on the wizards across the Alley, Gretchen spotted Delaney, waiting and timing it correctly so she stepped unseen up beside the woman a few feet away from the entrance to the Squid. "Delaney," she nodded in greeting, allowing a small smile to curl her lips. |

Who: Delaney Twilfitt and Maeve Sheridan When: Saturday evening/night Where: Beginning at the Apothecary, ending who knows? What: Delaney has an elixir to pick up. But that's not all she has in mind. Rating: PG for kissing and awkwardness? Open/Closed: Closed, Complete
Delaney hadn't been watching the time for the last hour. That wasn't her style at all. No, she had been keeping herself occupied, rearranging her shoes in the closet, and looking over some invoices for the shop, and okay yes, she had absolutely been watching the time for the last hour. It didn't matter anymore, because it was time to go.
She'd been planning it carefully - arrive to pick up the elixir for Nico at a time when Maeve was sure to be closing up shop, and invite her out. And then kiss her. Delaney hadn't really made plans further than that, mostly because she wasn't sure Maeve would let her get any further than that.
So. Elixir, date, kissing. Those were the three things on Delaney's mind as she strolled down the alley in a deliberately nonchalant manner, arriving at the door of the apothecary with hands that weren't shaking at all, thank you very much. She pushed open the door and walked in. |
