"Nope, no cold. Probably a women thing or something." he said and there was a teasing undertone in his voice. "I believe a butterbeer or something will warm you up though, 'sides it's always way too warm in pubs, so it shouldn't be a problem." He looked at her across the table.
He could have told her that he hadn’t askedher out, but it was an unimportant detail. "It was a purely selfish thing to do. Everyone else is busy with their missus or family, so I took whatever opportunity opened itself up to me." He said and winked. "No really, it's cool to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while." And to get out, even though he spent half his week's evenings somewhere; in a pub, on the pitch, with his mates. Marcus wasn't the kind of guy that could sit at home. He always found something to do.
"Aye, tomorrow. Against Wimbourne." Marcus added the information because he wasn't sure if Kira would know, or if she even really cared. He did care though, feeling comfortable with the topic. "It won't even be very exciting; I mean we'll win anyway." He laughed again and smiled at Kira. Since Hogwarts he had become somehow...well people would say cheerier. It was probably because he smiled more these days, now that he had the teeth for it. "You going to any of the games?"
The waitress came to their table to pick up the order. He let Kira order first and then ordered a beer and a whiskey chaser for himself.
