Eric was the kind of person to think he knew the solution to all problems, mainly because he was completely convinced that he knew the answer to just about everything—although that was hardly true, but he tended to live inside his own imagination enough where he began believing himself more than he should. Eric's downfall was his lack of humility.
Eying Bill's sandwich, Eric nodded, "no, Bill," he replied. "This author is rubbish, and I only bother reading their books because they're so bad. Every point they make is incorrect in some way, and they justify it with half-truths. Oddly, though, sometimes hearing the lie is easier than trying to figure out the truth. And take what you heard with a grain of salt. As much as I hate this witch and her bullocks, I think everyone should read this slop."
