Charlie Weasley ([info]tamethebeast) wrote in [info]wished,
Adjusting the collar on his jacket, he let Hestia lead the way for the 'bit of walking' they still had left. He knew he brought it up a lot in conversation, but he could not help feel very excited about the dragon that finally laid. "I finally have a baby," he said with a grin, "a beautiful Common Green Welsh." Though he was part of dragon births before, this particular birth was far more special. "The mother is very old, so we were all really surprised that she laid. It's incredible news, though! I got to head back to Romania to see the baby. I do believe it's a baby boy, and they've yet to name him."

After a few minutes of Charlie rambling on about the baby dragon, its size, how it ruined his jumper when it belched, they reached their apparition site. "Right, let's apparate then. I'm bloody starving, so this better be good!" he thought, suddenly craving a home-cooked meal.

Letting Hestia lead the way, they apparated. CRACK!
