He laughed a bit. Hestia seemed mildly insecure in that moment when she offered to return, an insecurity that Charlie knew he had to some degree himself. The Weasleys were a family of pleasers, and they liked others to feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. "You know me better than that Hestia. I'm not about to turn down an invitation to food," he smiled. A student caught Charlie, a bit out of breath, as she handed him an assignment that was due the previous day. Shrugging it off and telling her there was no need to apologise, he thanked her and tucked it away in his jacket.
"Oh?" he said curiously to Hestia, raising an eyebrow as they turned a corner. "Are you planning on telling me where we're going or would you like me to start guessing? 'Cause I will start guessing, and that may get obnoxious after a while..."
Charlie's relationship with Tonks and Hestia got him through a lot of rough spots, especially while in school. He would not trade that friendship with them for anything, and he would always remain loyal to them. Though he was a very private individual, having them around had been all he needed at times. As much as he put on the mask that he could get through anything and take on the load of others, Charlie was strong and still breakable.
