"Yeah," Baz nodded, a very serious tone in his voice. "I noticed that it was getting a little tricky there for a moment and I was gonna help you, really I was, but then you got it just fine - like I knew you could." He grinned at the other boy and watched him as he flopped back on the bed.
Leaning forward, he put his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands, looking the other boy for a long time before he shrugged. "Pretty good," he said. "I mean, about as well as any of us can be doing at this time. It's a bit weird you know, isn't it?" He pushed dark hair out of his face and tilted his head to the side, then to the other side. "You want to talk about it or you want me to tell you about something stupid that has nothing to do with anything and might make you laugh but also might make you not laugh because my jokes are really bad..." he rambled.
