Fleur's eyebrows raised when Bill brought up the subject of starting a family. It was not something she'd been prepared to discuss, especially not tonight. They'd talked about it briefly, casually. Usually in relation to something else. But it hadn't been something they'd dwelt on yet. Something about Bill's tone now indicated to her that perhaps it was time to discuss it with more gravity than before.
"Yes," she said shortly. Another sip of wine before continuing. "It would seem it is." Fleur didn't remember the first war, either - most of it had happened before she was even born, and that she did live through wasn't directly affecting France. "Children though...I think they adapt better to such things than adults do, sometimes. Not that it makes it the best idea to want to have children during these times. Especially since we are so involved. But you now I would love for us to have a family..."
She trailed off. It didn't seem quite the time to bring up, as she had a few times before, how she didn't feel ready to do something like that anyway. Fleur may have been an adult, but she was, and often still felt, very young. The idea of carrying a child, while she wanted children one day, rather frightened her.
