As Bill spoke and began preparing the wine, Fleur had accompanied him to the kitchen. She never let flowers sit without a vase for long, and tonight would be no different. The wine was very good indeed, Fleur decided after a sip. She set the glass down and went to work trimming the flowers and filling a vase with water. It was a quick job that allowed her to feel productive while she listened, and also gave a her a way to hide the faces she made while Bill griped about Hobnock.
That was one thing she'd never quite grown to like about Gringotts - though she loved the work, Fleur still found the goblins difficult to be any more than coolly polite towards. Though she suspected they wouldn't have cared. The roses satisfactorily arranged, she inhaled the scent briefly before turning around to face Bill, leaning against the counter.
She took up the wine again and indulged in another sip, shrugging. "You know I do not mind. I find them very difficult as well, although I do not have to deal with them as directly as you do." A pot of something was simmering on the stove top. "I only started making something to eat a while before you arrived. It may be a while yet."
