In the time that he spent quiet, Lucy had found herself staring straight back at him. Her eyes studied the looks that flickered across his face and then she settled back on her palms. He did have a point, of course. There was much they didn't know about each other. She had thought of this many times before.
She wondered if they would ever be.
She tilted her head to the side, a strand of hair falling across her eyes as it came loose from her hair tie. "As long as I don't end up as something particularly suspicious I think I'll be grateful to have gone through with it at all. Can't be very useful if I end up like a unicorn or something."
