Meghan nodded, her brow lifting curiously when he mentioned he'd wanted to speak with the Headmistress, though her curiosity was sated as he explained and she smiled, thinking that was a really good idea.
"That sounds like a really good idea," she nodded enthusiastically. "Do you think she's going to go for it?" She knew that the castle was kind of on lockdown or something at the moment. She had seen the articles and such, the Headmistress refusing any Ministry contact or what have you. Durmstrang had a reputation, too, and she couldn't imagine Viktor would have an easy in because of it. She hoped he could manage it, though, because she thought the students would love it.
She laughed as he referred to the climate. "I could use a holiday to the tropics myself about now," she admitted. She was used to this climate by now, but that didn't mean she wouldn't welcome a little sun and warmth.
"Is it horrible, working at the Ministry?" she asked him. She wasn't assuming he was for either side, but she also imagined it was horribly grim there these days. And he had mention needing a diversion. She took that as a sign that he didn't agree with what was going on there.
