Alfie's week had been probably one of the worst, and best, and most surreal he'd ever had, between Julien and worrying about mum and the situation with Julien's mum... and then with the new deal he'd had to strike with Goyle to keep everything quiet and to keep Julien from getting beaten up. If there was anyone in the world he wanted to tell, it would be his sister, but he couldn't - at least not about most of it, since he didn't want to get her on Goyle's list of people to beat up anymore than he wanted Julien on it. So he'd keep quiet about that, he could at least talk to her about mum, though, and about school, and about what was going on with Julien.

With classes so hard these last two weeks, it had been hard to get five minutes alone with her to just hang out, and he'd missed her even if he'd never actually tell her that out loud. He took his box of chocolates from Honeydukes down to the common room and snagged the little loveseat by the fire, waiting.

It seemed here lately that school was keeping them all insanely busy and Ellie really didn't like that. The holidays had been nice, not as nice as in the past when they went home though. But now they were back in classes and going full swing and it seemed as though Ellie and Alfie didn't get to spend any sibling time together. It was odd considering Ellie was so used to Alfie's presence in her life since they were twins. So when Alfie offered her chocolate she quickly jumped on it. After all it wasn't like he'd just hand over the chocolate and walk away.

Ellie hummed under her breath as she put her journal away and made her way down into the common room. "Alfie! I'm beginning to think you've been avoiding me." She was, of course, teasing and she grinned as she made her way over to the loveseat and flopped down next to him. "Now chocolate... Gimme!" She made a grabbing motion with her hands and smiled.

	"Brat," Alfie answered, but he gave her a hug first and then put the box of chocolate wedges into her grabby hands. "I haven't been avoiding you," he said said, settling on the sofa again and slumping back against the arm, facing her. "Unless you've been avoiding me, huh? Been busy getting into trouble?" She smiled happily and leaned into the hug. It was nice spending time with him. "Yay chocolate," she intoned happily as she took the wedge and opened it, biting into it quickly. "Me avoiding you? Psh. I'm not the one all involved with someone and probably off snogging him in all the abandoned class rooms of Hogwarts." She figured she could get some teasing in this time since she didn't get any in when he'd been dating Aud.

	"Oops," Ellie said, clapping a hand over her mouth and glancing around. She was glad that no one was around to hear what she'd said. She would have felt terrible if she'd been the one to give away their relationship to everyone just because she wanted to spend some time with Alfie and was teasing him about it. "That's not very adventurous of you two. After all there are plenty of rooms around here that don't get used." It was nice that Alfie could have something like this going for him considering everything that was going on. "I've been kind of boring this year, honestly. Kinda sad on my part. If I'm not bothering you then it's Aud. Maybe I need to broaden my horizons..."

"How cute! So it's like your room now? I'd assume it is one not around any populated areas, obviously." She was rather amused by all this and glad that Alfie had someone. And of course she was glad that he'd worked through the whole issue of liking a guy now too because she'd definitely been confused on how to proceeded with that conversation. "Are you saying I need to go and break some rules, Alfie? I was thinking that maybe I should keep being all boring so that I can be labeled the good twin."
