Percy paused in his actions, and set the papers he held down in a pile she was making on the floor.

I am not in the habit of lending my assistance to an insulting fellow employee while tending to my own affairs. Of course, perhaps I should be flattered, to be called a quicker kiss up. "I think I will politely withdraw my assistance. Good day," he said as he prepared to leave, disgusted at how rude she was being and decided that he'd had just about enough of it. He really didn't need to be harassed on his day off; he doubted she'd get any of her work reorganized in any time soon if her attitude was any reflection of her office skills.
