Percy drew himself up and shifted to a far more formal version of himself, "I did apologize, and I would be happy to lend you any assistance you should need in restructuring these documents," he said, as he helped gather up the sheets of parchment, "I am the Junior Undersecretary to the Ministry," he said, his words clipped and his tone indignant, "And I expect I have worked here longer than you."
As he rose, he couldn't believe the cheek of her, "If you think me too neglectful to lend you some help, please do not mince words and tell me now before I waste anymore of your precious time," he said in a polite but clearly derogatory manner, "It will not take that long if we work in a cooperative fashion, miss."
