Julien wasn't expecting to be pulled so close to Alfie, but he didn't mind it in the slightest, apart from the fact that he wasn't supposed to fall to pieces like this in front of the Hufflepuff. Their time together was precious and rare because it wasn't every minute of every day and here he was wasting it on tears and pain that no one could do anything about.
He wiped at his face again, trying (and failing) to calm himself and then held tight to Alfie and turned his mouth to seek his dark-haired boyfriend's, pressing wet, salty tear-tasting kisses against Alfie's jaw.
