Rightfully, he felt a little embarrassed at his slight outburst. He shook his head for a moment, then laughed. "It's not the Hufflepuffs I'm worried about, it's you lot that I care about. I couldn't continue to ride around the middle of nowhere searching out the wizard cavalry in hopes to one day ride in to the rescue, not with our friends getting attacked."
He slumped back against the counter for only a moment, before lifting his head up to eye both of his brothers. "The Ministry was going to fill the open positions with their own people, and McGonagall wanted to make sure she asked me first. If it means I can keep an eye on things from somewhere closer than bloody Romania, then I'm going to latch onto whatever job I'm offered. Besides, it gives me a place to stay that's not at home with mum and dad, and I don't have to impede on your freedom, or crash at Bill's place with him getting married and all." He grinned. "Besides, don't you want me to learn all the secrets I can about Hogwarts? Insider information you could sell for a decent price?"
