Yeah, it sounded like a lot of people had a better Christmas than him and it had probably just as hard for a lot of kids to come back to the school. A lot of parents hadn't wanted their kids back, his parents were no different, especially with how sick he had been. Terry had begged and pleaded to go back. Sometimes the begging and pleading had taken a lot of of him. How was he to know a muggle illness could be so awful? Really put a dampener on things when he really though about it.
'I wouldn't be surprised if most of Hogwarts got Howlers now,' he remarked. With Dumbledore gone and tons of people going missing or into hiding, it really was no surprise that parents weren't thrilled to send their children back to school. Who knew how safe it was and even back a few years ago, people were starting to doubt the protection of Hogwarts and its students. 'My parents weren't too happy that I came back as well. How many people aren't coming back?'
The sad truth was, Terry just rather not know how many people were remaining home instead of coming to Hogwarts. It was very possible that it was the reason why Anthony hadn't shown up. Then again, it was all possible that their friend just had an illness just like Terry had. If so, that was god awful, even Terry had been stir crazy being in bed all of the time. Even his books were very little comfort to him and he just couldn't focus on his studies. Which for him was an obvious sign of being sick.
'I was in the hospital for Christmas,' he replied. 'My muggle cousins came to see me with my parents and Aunt and Uncle. It was crappy, obviously. They wouldn't let me eat any of my sweets or let anyone stay really. At least I'm better though. A word of advise Mike, never get the flu. Muggle illnesses are awful.'
