"No," Penny was pulled out of watching the woman on the stretcher and lengthening her strides to keep up. "Should I? She seemed so cold, and confused. I just wanted to get her here."
In the harsh light of the Hospital, the damage to her body was becoming more and more evident; her skin had a pale pallor with tinges of yellow and blue from the cold.
"Is she going to be alright?" Penny had never been a fan of hospitals ; whilst part of her admired those able to work in the medical career, she knew that she would never have the stomach to deliver bad news or to see hope die in someones eyes when they learned their loved one wasn't coming back.
