Alecto Carrow has [anger] issues. ([info]alecto__carrow) wrote in [info]wished,
Bored. So horribly, terribly bored. Feeling like a caged tiger, Alecto began to pace the house. What more could she do? She wasn't stationed to deal with the muggles registering at the Ministry - which was a good idea considering she might becoming a bit... trigger happy and ruin everything. Even the Snatchers had a certain job tonight. She didn't find it fair that she was stuck at Grimmauld Place while those less worthy were allowed to do the Dark Lord's bidding.

Tapping her wand idly against her cheek, she crossed the corridor. Tuli, her house elf, was close behind her carrying a tray with fresh tea, and a basket of biscuits. The vile house elf had been following her for the past hour as Alecto attempted to find a place to settle down. Black heels came to a sudden stop, which forced the elf to grab the tray to stop it from spilling at Alecto's feet. The tea pot, cup and biscuits went spilling all over the tiny creature as it yelped out in pain from the scorching hot water. A low hiss came from Alecto as the tea pot fell the floor and rolled a bit down the hall.

"Clumsy scad!" Smacking the elf on the head, a swift kick sent the elf cowering on its feet. 'Please mistress, Tuli is sorry! A thousand apologies!' Lips curled into a sneer as her wand was getting ready to send a hex towards the elf before stopping in mid-air. Attention was suddenly pulled from the elf, as her head turned towards the closed doors of the drawing room. Wand held lowered as she stood up and stared at the closed doors. Black eyes flickered with excitement was she heard the noise once more.

It was very faint, but a keen ear like Alecto's picked it up instantly. "Rats!" Swift, silent steps were taken to the doors, as she threw them open. Eyes easily adjusted to the dim lightly, and sought out the source of the noise.

"A-ha!" In the far corner of the room a dark shadow was attempting to make itself as small as possible. "Stupefy!" The quivering shadow instantly froze, and then flopped over. In the dim light, it was obvious what Alecto was aiming for. A large brown rat came into the view. Waving her wand rather gracefully, the rat sailed into the air. Swaying precariously in the open, as another spell was cast and the rat was suddenly revived. It began to shriek at being suspended in the air for no reason.

Lips curled into a disgusted sneer as she finally took a seat on one of the plush chairs near the fire. With the rat swaying near her, and dangerously close to the fire in the fireplace, Alecto finally found a place to settle down. Tuli was close to follow with a new tray of tea and biscuits. Placing it on the table beside the chair, the elf went about fixing her tea just the way she liked it. Alecto looked like a content cat, batting around the rat like it was some sort of plaything. "Lucky for you, Tuli, this rat was near by... or just think this could be you. Crucio!" The rat began writhing in mid-air, shrieking, and clawing at the air trying to abate the horrible pain coursing through it's body. The house elf shuddered and kept it's gaze on the tea it was pouring.

While torturing rats barely held a candle to torturing muggles, it would have to do for the time being.
