"Ah," Fiona gave Audrey's hand a squeeze, not sure that there was really anything else helpful she could say on the Sam front. She'd assured the girl numerous times that anyone that could just drop her like that was not someone she wanted and that it would work out eventually. All the consoling things ones supposed to say in that sort of situation. She knew Audrey didn't need her repeating herself. Instead she settled for squeezing her hand reassuringly and switching topics.
"I'm glad you brought that up, Aud," she said, in a steady, serious tone. "I had been trying to figure out how I could broach that without sound like a complete arse and just couldn't work it out. You are a bit stupid and I know you think you're doing the rest of us a favour, making us look better and all but I think it's time you just knocked it off."
