Audrey couldn't decide where she'd rather be, Hogwarts or home. Neither were really preferable. Home had become a place she didn't want to be very often, especially with what had gone on with Sam looming in her mind. She often felt overlooked, on the outskirts of whatever was going on with the family and preferred to spend time in her room or with her friends. But she couldn't go see Alfie, she felt awkward around him. She regretted ever suggesting the idea that they date, all it had done was hurt both of them.
At Hogwarts, while she had more people willing to include her, she had to put up with seeing Sam, and Ginny and that certainly wasn't a fun situation. It wasn't as though Audrey had been in love with Sam, she was certain of that. But to have whatever they had had end so abruptly? She hadn't been able to get any closure, and seeing her being snogged senseless by Ginny Weasley wasn't helping that any.
Heaving a sigh, she pushed out of the dorm and clumped down the stairs, hoping the change of scenery would help a little. It was more crowded now, and she stayed on the steps, glancing around the room before her eyes lit on a familiar head of shaggy brown hair and her lips curled in a grin. Making her way across the room, she perched on the arm of Fiona's chair, staring pointedly at a student curled on the couch. "Miss me?" Aud smiled down at her friend.
