He narrowed his eyes, partially because he didn't think it had been a vague statement, but also because the lights in here were so damned bright. They'd probably been like that all night, but now they were just giving him a headache.
"Forrrr," Orsino began, the word drawn out in a slur. He was tired, yes, but groping for an explanation as well. "Well. Not for that. Dunno. I guess not."
Well what did he have to be sorry about? Penny hadn't exactly been keen on stopping him. At least not at first. And she'd reciprocated, quite strongly, at that. His mouth still felt a bit funny. He thought the sleep thing that been an excuse, but maybe she really was just tired. So was he. Probably why he was beginning to feel surly.
